The next morning in DC, Joey finds himself surrounded by rough-edged, belligerent, raucous, and armed individuals. Their numbers grow rapidly. As the morning turns to afternoon, he participates in a rally and gets swept up in the moment. Joey joins the throngs headed to the Capitol complex. His feelings of foreboding and anxiety grow with each step toward the protesters’ ultimate destination. “Show Time” reflects the energy of an event which goes off the rails and catapults Joey into an environment that he never envisioned. As the day continues, Joey becomes terrified by what he witnesses at the Capitol Complex and flees the horrific scene.
