Joey drags himself out of bed after days of extra-long shifts at the grocery store.
He gapes at the television as an over-zealous but entirely accurate newscaster delivers the message that “Everything’s Cancelled!” It seems to Joey that the longer this pandemic grinds-on, the more shrill, desperate, and ridiculous people across all levels of society are becoming.
